<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crawling device and its method capable of dynamically adjusting an interval of access to a Web server, through grasping the state of the Web server accessed. <P>SOLUTION: A crawling device 1 includes: a response information acquisition part 12 for storing in a response DB (database) 21 response information indicating a response state, acquired from a Web server 2 in response to the access to the Web server 2 at a specified access interval; a state analysis part 13 for acquiring the response information on the Web server 2 during a specified period from the response DB 21 and analyzing the sate of the Web server 2; a state estimation part 14 for estimating the state of the Web server 2 based on the analysis by the state analysis part 13 and storing the state information on the Web server 2 in a state DB 22; and an access interval determination part 15 for determining an interval of access to the Web server 2, based on the state information on the Web server 2 stored in the state DB 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
