The invention relates to a microfluidic device (100) for the production and collection of droplets (14) of a first fluid (1 1 ), said device comprising a microfluidic platform (1 10) including at least a droplet microchannel (1 19) wherein is produced a flow of single droplets of said first fluid dispersed in a second fluid immiscible with the first fluid, said droplet microchannel comprising at least one inlet extremity (I) and comprising at least one outlet (171 ) extremity for the distribution of said flow of droplets, According to the invention, the device comprises : - a collection device (120) comprising a plurality of receiving areas (122) adapted to collect at least one of said droplets, - means (181 ) for changing the relative position of the collection device (120) and the outlet of the microfluidic platform, - means (182) for controlling the flow of droplets, and - means (183) for synchronizing the flow of droplets at the outlet of said droplet microchannel and the relative movement of the collection device with regards to the microfluidic platform. It also relates to a method for producing and collecting single droplets. |
