发明名称 MEANS FOR DYNAMIC BALANCING AND DEVICES FOR INDICATING UNBALANCE VALUES
摘要 1,246,684. Dynamic balancing. W. & T. AVERY Ltd. Oct. 24, 1968 [March 16, 1968], No.50451/68. Headings G1N and G1X. In a method of dynamic balancing, the out-ofbalance force in one or more planes is/are represented, and the correction procedure monitored, on the screen 50 of a cathode ray tube 115. The positions of the centre 30 of a light circle 10 (single plane) or light points 20, 22 (multi-plane) relative to the origin of axes 15 represent the out-of-balance force(s) in magnitude and direction. The force component measurements, applied as potentials at 100, 101 for one plane and 160, 161 for a second plane, are stored by units 116, 117 to maintain the display after a measuring run. A linear light trace 12 initially originating at said origin represents the angle between a compensating machine tool and a reference point on the test body. After the measuring run the test body is rotated until the trace 12 passes through the point 30 or a selected one of points 20, 22, the tool then being correctly positioned relative to the test body for compensating the out-of-balance force in the plane corresponding to that point. As the machine tool is applied to the test body, the trace 12 is controlled to fade from the origin until, when compensation is complete, the trace has faded out to the point 20, 22, or 30, Fig.2c (not shown). In multi-plane balancing, the various light spots are identified by differently oriented semi-circles as at 21, 23. Summing and deflection amplifiers 108, 109 supply control potentials to the deflection plates 137, 136 of the C.R.T. 115, the inputs to the amplifiers being controlled by an electronic cyclic switch 105 to produce the required display. Sinusoidal and cosinusoidal A. C. voltages at 113, 114 generate the semi-circles 21, 23 and the circle 10. D.C. potentials at 140, 141 are proportional to the advancement of the machine tool, corrected according to the angular position of the test body. D.C. potentials representing the sine and cosine of the angular position of the test body are generated at 134 and applied to integrators 130. During the measuring run a switch 155 is open and a three position switch 150 is in the position shown, Fig. 1, only the circle 10 or spots 20, 22 and semi-circles 21, 23, together with a spot 13 at the origin, being displayed. For setting the test body for compensation in one plane, the switch 155 is closed and the switch 150 moved to a second position, to add the trace 12 to the display and delete the spot 22. For balancing in a second plane, switch 150 has a third position, to add spot 22 and delete spot 20.
