An other vehicle information providing device provides information on other vehicles which a driver can always recognize, based on positional information on vehicles obtained by inter-vehicle communication. The device assigns priority to a plurality of other vehicle informations inputted to the own vehicle and provides the other vehicle information having high priority. The other vehicle information providing device includes: a priority memory means 22 which stores the latest priority and previous priority; an information switching index value calculation means 23 which predicts future priority based on the latest priority and the previous priority stored in the priority memory means 22 and calculates an information switching index value based on the latest priority, the previous priority and the future priority; and an information providing means 30 which provides other vehicle information based on the information switching index value. |
