<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital TV broadcast receiver capable of setting programmed recording for the other digital TV broadcast receiver by communicating between a plurality of the digital TV broadcast receivers. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the digital broadcast TV receiver used for a system equipped with a plurality of the digital broadcast TV receivers that are connected to one another via a network. In the digital broadcast TV receiver, when remote programmed record setting mode has been selected, the receiver through which viewing and listening and/or the programmed record setting are desired to be performed is selected from the other receiver connected to the network. The digital broadcast TV receiver comprises a means for inputting viewing and listening, and/or programmed recording information that is intended to be set for the selected receiver; a means for transmitting, to the selected receiver, the viewing and listening, and/or programmed recording information that have been input; and a means for receiving and registering the viewing and listening, and/or programmed recording information when the information has been incoming. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
