The electrode mixture in which the overcharge inhibition material is one or more members selected from the group consisting of an aramid, a polyether, a polysulfone and a polyethersulfone. An electrode comprising the electrode mixture. A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode capable of being doped and dedoped with lithium ions, a separator and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution, wherein the positive electrode is the electrode described above.
