Disclosed herein are nitrogenated heterocyclic compounds of formula (I) e.g. Trans 8- (aminomethyl)-4,8-dihydro-1-methyl-5(sulphooxy)-4,7-methano-7H-pyrazolo[3,4-e] [1,3]diazepin-6(5H)-one,, wherein the substituents are as defined within the specification, processes for their preparation, pharmaceutical comprising said compounds and uses thereof as antibacterial drugs.
