<p>Disclosed is a monitoring and control method for a machine terminal. The machine terminal acquires regional restriction information; the machine terminal checks and determines its own current location upon assuming an idle state or a detached state, compares the current location information with the regional restriction information and, upon leaving an unrestricted region, sends an alert message to the network side; and, the network side acquires the current location information of the machine terminal upon receiving the alert message. Also disclosed are a monitoring and control system for a machine terminal, and the corresponding machine terminal. The present invention allows for monitoring and control of a machine terminal when the machine terminal is in an idle state or detached state, and makes it possible to ascertain the location of a machine terminal at all times, making management of the machine terminal easy.</p> |
