<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an initiator capable of supporting an anode in a proper state without machining the anode. <P>SOLUTION: The anode contact supporting part 52 for supporting the empty weight of the anode while contacting the support surface 126a of the one ear part 26a of the anode 20 from the lower side in the Z axis direction (vertical direction) maintains the angle relative to the XY surface (horizontal surface) of the supporting surface 126a in the same angle as the inclining angle relative to the X'Y' surface of the supporting surface 126 while supporting the empty weight of the anode 20.
