<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller for an air conditioner which even a general user can easily understand intuitively, in which a plurality of obstacles can be easily put in settings, and which does not degrade the level of comfort. <P>SOLUTION: The remote controller 1 for an air conditioner includes: a display 2 for displaying a room divided into a plurality of areas; and a selection unit for selecting from among the plurality of divided areas.
