<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which the visibility of a pedestrian crossing a crosswalk considerably decreases at nighttime. <P>SOLUTION: An organic EL panel is imbedded in a crosswalk and the organic EL panel is allowed to emit light according to a change in the surrounding illumination, which improves its visibility. The visibility for a crosswalk automatic detection device in a vehicle is also improved, and therefore, erroneous detection of the automatic detection device can be decreased.
