PURPOSE: A backlight unit and liquid crystal display apparatus including the same are provided to improve heat radiation features by dispersing heat generated in a light emitting diode package. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting diode package(153) includes a light emitting diode(153a). A PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(151) includes the light emitting diode package. The PCB is mounted on a bottom cover. A shoulder(156) which is located between the light emitting diode package and the PCB in order to attach the light emitting diode package to the PCB. A heat radiation hole(155) is formed on the inside of the PCB. |
