<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the range of a transmission speed ratio of a continuously variable transmission whose transmission speed ratio can be regulated in a stepless manner. <P>SOLUTION: The continuously variable transmission 100 which changes speed and outputs the driving force of a prime mover 1 includes a CVT 10 to which the driving force of the prime mover 1 is inputted and which outputs the driving force after regulating the transmission speed ratio in a stepless manner, a CVT 20 to which the driving force of the prime mover 1 is inputted and which outputs the driving force after regulating the transmission speed ratio in a stepless manner, and a planetary gear device 30 to which the output from the CVT 10 and the output from the CVT 20 are inputted and which combines and outputs the driving forces. The planetary gear device 30 includes a rotatable sun gear 31, a rotatable planetary carrier 33 which engages with the outer periphery of the sun gear 31 and to which a rotatable/revolvable planetary gear 32 is connected, and a rotatable ring gear 34 which engages with the outer periphery of the planetary gear 32. The output from the CVT 10 and the output from the CVT 20 are each input to two of the sun gear 31, the planetary carrier 33 and the ring gear 34, and the remaining one outputs the combined driving forces. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
