PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of such a schedule as resulting in a lethal gene while handling the whole schedule of a plurality of nurses as an individual organism.

SOLUTION: A scheduling device according to the present invention includes a storage unit 20 for storing a plurality of pieces of scheduling data, and a processing unit 10 for performing an optimization process for optimizing the scheduling data. The scheduling data includes a plurality of partial codes regulating daily working forms of respective nurses. The partial code has a nurse specification value as an element, and the sequence of the element represents the working form of the nurse. The nurse specification value is represented by a sequence expression based on a personnel list.
