Disclosed is a &bgr;-glucanase and xylanase preparation method that involves a process for cultivating microbes belonging to the Trichoderma genus using a liquid culture medium that comprises waste fungi as an organic nitrogen source, whereby a cellulase with a superior ability to decompose xylan-containing cellulosic resources is prepared at a low cost.
