摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system capable of effectively suppressing damages by a relay attack by having a mechanism capable of discriminating whether a response signal from a key to a WAKE signal is a response to the WAKE signal transmitted first or a response to the second and succeeding WAKE signals in a smart key system. <P>SOLUTION: The WAKE signals at the start of communication from a vehicle to a smart key are made different between a WAKE1 signal transmitted first and a WAKE2 signal transmitted thereafter, and a response signal in the case of receiving the WAKE1 signal and a response signal in the case of receiving the WAKE2 signal are turned to different signals on a key side. In the case that a vehicle side does not receive the response signal to the WAKE1 signal, it is determined that a relay attack is being performed, and door opening and engine start of a vehicle are not permitted.
