<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing biodiesel fuel which enables load reduction in finishing filtration treatment. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing biodiesel fuel, the biodiesel fuel is obtained by performing purification treatment of crude biodiesel fuel obtained through a transesterification reaction of waste edible oil, wherein impurity removal treatment performed prior to the transesterification reaction is included. The impurity removal treatment includes: stirring and mixing treatment of stirring and mixing by-product glycerol, which is a by-product of the transesterification reaction, as an impurity removal agent with a raw material waste edible oil to produce a mixture; and also still standing treatment of performing still standing of the mixture to cause specific gravity separation of the impurity removal agent, wherein the stirring and mixing in the stirring and mixing treatment are performed in the conditions which require at least 3-hour still standing for the specific gravity separation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
