PURPOSE: An optical cable holder and an optical cable connecting device having the same are provided to minimize the press of optical cable when holding the optical cable, thereby reducing the optical loss transmitted through the optical cable. CONSTITUTION: An optical cable holder(500) holds an incoming optical cable to a housing. The optical cable holder includes a first holder(520), a second holder(540), and a coupling member(560). The first holder forms a first groove with a concave curved shape. The second holder includes a body unit and an elastic piece. The body unit forms a second groove with a concave curved shape. The coupling member combines the first holder and the second holder to make the first groove and the second groove face each other.
