<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of recognizing the state of a usage environment of the communication apparatus with a single apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The communication apparatus 10 can monitor an ambient usage environment state of transmits and receives a transmission wave for measurement and a reflected wave for measurement through an antenna as well as an information communication function. The communication apparatus 10 includes a measuring means for receiving, with the antenna, a reflected wave for measurement from an obstacle of a transmission wave for measurement transmitted from the antenna to measure a physical value, and a control means for determining the ambient usage environment state on the basis of a physical value in a first measurement and a second physical value in a second measurement measured in a period different from that of the first measurement and controls to notify the usage environment state from the determination result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
