Method for localising light sources, computer program and localisation unit

The method involves creating a list of light sources (1) with unique digital identifier having a bit sequence. The light sources are simultaneously driven so that successive luminescent states corresponding to light sources are associated with bit sequences of the unique identifier. A sequence of images of an array (10) with image pickup devices (6), is received. The image pickup device is driven by matching the sequence of images with the sequence of lighting conditions of the light sources. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) computer program for localization of light sources; and (2) localization unit for localization of light sources.
