PURPOSE: An apparatus for purifying water in an aquarium is provided to improve the efficiency of water purification and to improve the sterilizing efficiency of water regardless of the space and the location of installation. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for purifying water includes a reacting chamber(100) equipped with one or more slanted plates(140). The slanted plates induce the downward flow of water, and bubbles are attached to the lower sides of the slanted plates. The bubbles are separated from water. The re-mixing of the bubbles with water is prevented by arranging a separating partition in the apparatus. Purified water is drained to an aquarium through a draining chamber. |
