A holding brake (10) is arranged to hold the position of a rotor blade (29) during emergency. The actuation of holding brake is performed by a servo motor (13). The servo motor is connected with a flange plate (12) by a connection unit (24). The housing of the holding brake is adjustable using a lifting magnet (14). An independent claim is included for device for deceleration of wind energy plant.
