<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of evaluating the lifetime of a gas insulated switchgear capable of effectively deciding a post-replacement inspection timing of the contact points of the switchgear. <P>SOLUTION: A test voltage V<SB POS="POST">T</SB>and a test current I<SB POS="POST">T</SB>to be applied at the time of a switching test of contact points are predetermined. A plurality of switching tests are to be performed for both the V<SB POS="POST">T</SB>and the I<SB POS="POST">T</SB>with either one of them fixed and varying the other. A current correction coefficient β, and a voltage correction coefficient γ for a degree of contact point wearing are obtained based on a relation between a variation amount of the voltage or the current and a wearing amount w of the contact points. An estimated lifetime number of a switchgear under operation is estimated based on a recovery voltage V and a load current I of the switchgear under operation, the test voltage V<SB POS="POST">T</SB>and the test current I<SB POS="POST">T</SB>, and the current correction coefficient β and the voltage correction coefficient γ as described. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
