<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet folding device configured to improve storage efficiency without decreasing the quantity of folded sheets to be stacked in a storage space. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet folding device includes a stacking storage part into which a conveyed sheet held and folded by folding rollers is introduced. The sheet stacking storage part includes: a rotatable rotation-regulating member 504 having a shelf board member 503A which can rock toward a position retreating from the upper surface of the sheet by being arranged in parallel to the direction advancing to the upper surface of the sheet and the loading direction, a groove part 504A into which the both sides of the shelf board member 503A in the thickness direction can fit, and a rotation shaft 504B inserted into a long hole 503A1 formed in the shelf board member 503A in the center of rotation; a rotation unit 502 to which the rotation-regulating member 504 is rotatably provided, while having a rotation drive source of the rotation-regulating member and being movable along the loading direction; and a lift tray 505 which can hold the lower surface of the shelf board member 503A, and is movable along the loading direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
