<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil separator capable of reliably capturing particulate oil mist and improving capturing performance of the oil mist. <P>SOLUTION: In an oil separator 10, blowby gas sequentially flows through each of cyclone chambers 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32 so that oil mist in the blowby gas is condensed by centrifugal force of a cyclone in each of the cyclone chambers 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32 to form oil droplets which are collected in oil drains 40, 42. Further, the oil mist in the blowby gas collides with a collision wall 62 in each of the cyclone chambers 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32 and condenses to form oil droplets which are collected in the oil drains 40, 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
