<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for suppressing heat to be generated in a secondary-side pipeline of a switch valve when the valve is opened at once, with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for suppressing heat generation 108 suppresses heat to be generated in supplying a gas into a gas container 100 and consuming the gas stored in the gas container 100. The apparatus 108 includes gas passages 130 and 134 which are connected to the switch valve 102, and through which the gas passes, and a gas expansion chamber 132. The gas passage 130 is connected to the switch valve 102. The gas passes through the gas passages 130 and 134. The gas expansion chamber 132 communicates with the gas passages 130 and 134.
