<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce volume, weight and manufacturing cost of a liquid crystal display device having an optical touch panel. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal module 110, a backlight module 120, a driving and detection module 130, and multiple photosensors 117. The liquid crystal module 110 includes an upper polarizer 111, a lower polarizer 115, an upper glass substrate 112, a lower glass substrate 114, a liquid crystal 113, a color filter 116, a thin film transistor 118, a black matrix 119, a data line 131, a gate line 132, a detection line 133, etc.. The backlight module 120 includes a light source, a light guide plate 121, a diffusion sheet 122, etc.. The driving and detection module includes a data driver, a gate driver, a photosensor driver, a photodetector, etc..
