<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key pad which can, when instructed to press a region between contact points arranged on the reverse side of a multi-direction key of a non-true-circle shape, turn on the contact points on both sides of the region accurately, and to provide an electronic device comprising the key pad. <P>SOLUTION: A key pad of this invention comprises: a frame 10 having two or more open holes; one, or two or more pedestals which are arranged in the open holes, project from the frame 10 in the front direction, and are made of elastic materials 47; a multi-direction key 20 which is arranged in the upper part of two or more pedestals and can be press-operated toward each of the pedestal sides. A fist distance L1 between the multi-direction key 20 in the position of the pedestal and the frame 10 on the reverse side is smaller than a second distance L2 between the multi-direction key 20 in an end position further away from the in-plane center of the multi-direction key 20 than the pedestal and the frame 10 on the reverse side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
