<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a superconducting wire rod in which a superconducting current does not get saturated even when a superconducting layer is made thick, and the superconducting wire rod. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a superconducting wire rod 1 having a superconducting layer 13 formed on a metal substrate 11 with an intermediate layer 12 interposed includes a heating process of heating the metal substrate 11 up to a filming temperature of a superconducting thin film forming the superconducting layer 13, a filming process of forming a superconducting thin film which is 10 to 200 nm of thickness on the intermediate layer 12, and a cooling process of cooling the temperature of the metal substrate 11 down to below the filming temperature of the superconducting thin film, and is characterized in carrying out a superconducting thin film forming process comprising the heating process, filming process, and cooling process a plurality of times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
