<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film having good adhesion with a polarizer. <P>SOLUTION: The optical film has, on one side of a transparent resin film, a highly adhesive layer containing a polymer represented by following general formula (1). The general formula (1) is -(MMA)p-(X)q-(Y)r-, where MMA represents methyl methacrylate, X represents at least one kind of monomer unit selected from 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate and 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate, and Y represents a monomer unit copolymerizable with MMA and X.
