<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply control device capable of surely grasping service life of relays and efficiently replacing the relays while reducing power consumption of a printer. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply control device comprises: a first and a second power supply switching means that are connected in between a power supply and a load; a driving control means that initially drives the first power supply switching means for a prescribed number of times and drives the first and the second power supply switching means alternately thereafter; and a failure detection and display means that detects drive failure of the first and the second power supply switching means and instructs replacement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
