<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of speeding up page-by-page processing by promoting parallel processing in an OL generation process. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device 10 comprises multiple processors including a processor 12 that comprises a local memory 12a for storing transfer condition information 32 used as a standard for determination of necessity for transfer of PDL processing. Each of the processors functions as: PDL interpretation means 41 for interpreting a PDL of print data; OL generation means 43 for generating an OL that is a print intermediate language, based on a PDL operator interpreted by the PDL interpretation means; processing transfer means 46 for transferring subsequent PDL processing to other processors when the PDL operator falls under a drawing operator for generating a drawing OL; and transfer determination means 44 for determining necessity for transfer based on a processing content of the drawing operator and the transfer condition information 32 stored in the local memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
