<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve at least a number of problems in the conventional injection device such as low productivity, low efficiency, the leakage of a molten material, stagnation of the flow of the molten material and decomposition thereby. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the injection device for an injection molding machine. The injection device for the injection molding machine comprises a flange, a shut off nozzle, a charging cylinder and an injection cylinder connected to the flange. The charging cylinder supplies the molten material to the injection cylinder via the shut off nozzle. An injection passage which interconnects with the injection cylinder is provided and the injection cylinder performs injection via the injection passage. A charging screw is provided inside the charging cylinder and a charging shut off assembly capable of blocking up the inlet of the shut off nozzle is provided in the front part of the charging screw.
