<p>The present invention provides a sealing structure (50, 60) for sealing a gap (31, 32) and thereby sealing a flow path defined by a rotational body (20) and a stator (10), the rotational body being rotated around a center shaft (P) and passing a main stream therethrough, the stator being provided on the rotational body (20) with the gap (31, 32) therebetween. The sealing structure (50, 60) is adapted to include a sealing member (51A, 51B) which is provided in the gap (31, 32) and which divides a fluid to a high-pressure side and a low-pressure side, the fluid having flowed into the gap (31, 32) from the main stream; and a speed-varying member (52A, 52B) which is provided on the high-pressure side of the fluid in the gap (31, 32) to pass the fluid therethrough as well as to reduce one of the speed components of the fluid in the direction of rotation of the rotational body (20). This sealing structure can retard excitation force and provide a simplified construction, thereby reducing manpower required to manufacture the structure.</p> |
