<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a light source module as well as an electronic equipment having the same thin and of high quality. <P>SOLUTION: The module is provided with an irradiating part 200 including an LED 105 and a reflector 180 surrounding the periphery of the LED 105 and reflecting light on an inside face, a light guide body 131 having an incident face 132 in a position opposed to the LED 105 for light from the LED 105 to be incident into as well as an irradiating face 120 adjacent to the incident face 132 for propagating light incident from the incident face 132 inward and irradiating it from the irradiating face 120, and a reflecting sheet 110 located along a main face 121 opposed to the irradiating face 120 of the light guide body 131. The irradiating part 200 is provided with an extended part 182 consisting of a part of the reflector 180 extended so as to be along an end part of the main surface 121 of the light guide body 131.
