<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increases in print suspend time or the time required to print because of remaining ink detection operations even when there is a sufficient amount of remaining ink. <P>SOLUTION: At least one ink tank is monitored to determine if the remaining ink is less than a given amount, and when an ink tank whose remaining ink is less than the given amount is detected, printing is suspended and it is determined which ink tank has ink less than the given amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
