<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain that a radiation power is exactly obtainable even though there is a loss unable to disregard in a measurement system, when the radiation power is measured for an object to be measured by using an ellipsoidal coupler. <P>SOLUTION: A phase rotation section 130 consisting of a variable phase shifter 131 and a bi-branch circuit 132 of which a reflective element 133 is connected to a branch output of one side, is inserted between a reception antenna 15 and a power measurement apparatus 150, and a maximum value and a minimum value of the power to be measured by the power measurement apparatus 150 are obtained with respect to a phase change by the variable phase shifter 131, and from a ratio of the obtained maximum value and the minimum value, an output reflection coefficient of the coupler 21 is calculated to estimate an input reflection coefficient of the object 1 to be measured approximated by the output reflection coefficient. A similar estimation is made with respect to also the input reflection coefficient of the reference antenna 160 which is used instead of the object 1 to be measured, and a whole radiation power of the object 1 to be measured is calculated based on the estimated input reflection coefficient and a reception power at the time when the output of the reception antenna 15 is measured directly by the power measurement apparatus 150. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
