Method of strengthened authentification based on the collecting of data representative of hardware components contained in a system (I.H.S), said method comprising a step of enrolment and a step of authentication comprising the steps: - connection (10) to a website and reception (20) of a web page comprising executable code; - detection and collection (30) of a list of hardware components on the basis of the information collected by the operating system, in particular for the loading of drivers; characterized in that the enrolment procedure furthermore comprises the following steps: display of a list of hardware components resulting from said collection and selection (40) of a subset of said list with the aim of constructing an item of digital reference information (ADNN) for the system of the user; - generating of a digital reference item of information item (ADNN) on the basis of said subset, said digital reference information resulting from a hash operation applied to the raw data constituted by the collected data; - use of said digital reference information item (ADNN) with a seed received from an authentication server with the aim of generating a one-time password (OTP).
