<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and properly attach a cover to a chassis. <P>SOLUTION: In a disk drive where a cover 9 covers a chassis 8 having a turntable 6 and an optical pickup 7 mounted, lock holes 32a-32c are formed at the both side edge portions and rear end edge portion of the chassis 8, press plates 33a-33c provided integrally with edges of right and left side peripheral wall portions 23a and 23b and rear side peripheral wall portion 23d of the cover 9 in a protruding manner are bent laterally, and elastically displaceable engagement pieces 35a-35c left after cutting by forming a U-shaped slit at the center portion of each of the press plates 33a-33c are bent outward. Each of the engagement pieces 35a-35c is inserted into each of the lock holes 32a-32c to elastically engage the front end of each of the engagement pieces 35a-35c with the chassis 8 and each of the press plates 33a-33c is pressed against the chassis 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
