<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire sensor that can detect rotation of a tire and change the radio transmission frequency of the tire state according to rotation of the detected tire, while suppressing increase of the number of members, and to provide a tire condition monitoring device using the tire sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A sensor unit 3 as a tire sensor includes: a sensor unit controller 13 which measures a state of a tire loaded to a wheel of a vehicle; a transmission circuit 14 which performs radio transmission of the data which shows the state of the tire which the sensor unit controller 13 has measured; and generating equipment 16 which generates power in response to wheel movement accompanying traveling of a vehicle, and loaded in the wheel. The sensor unit 3 detect rotation of a wheel based on change at least either voltage or current of power generated by the generating equipment 16, and changes frequency of radio transmission based on detected rotation of the wheel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
