<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of deviation in the developer conveyance amount to a development region in the rotation axis direction of a developer carrier even if the fluidity of a developer is decreased, while reducing stress applied to the developer in a supply-collection separation-type development device. <P>SOLUTION: A development device causes a surface of a developing sleeve 34a to carry a developer, which is conveyed through a supply conveyance path 37 by a supply screw 39, by magnetic force generated by a magnet roller 34b disposed inside of the developing sleeve 34a while collecting the developer past a developing region from the developing sleeve surface into a collection conveyance path. Mobility of the developer, which exists in a buffer section adjacent to an upstream side of the moving direction of a development doctor 35 on the developing sleeve surface, is adjusted such that the mobility of the developer at an upstream side of the developer conveyance direction in the supply conveyance path 37 by the supply screw 39 is higher than that at a downstream side thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
