<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve resistance to air permeability. <P>SOLUTION: An unvulcanized diene-based rubber polymer composed of natural rubber and/or isoprene rubber is irradiated with electron beams. Then, a compound having a carbon-carbon double bond and also at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of a hydroxy group, a nitrile group, and a halogen atom in the molecule is added to the electron beam-irradiated diene-based rubber polymer.
