PURPOSE:To manufacture regenerated powder of food prepared from gain, useful as a vehicle or rice meal, by dehydrating the food, and treating the dried food with a solvent of protein thereby dissolving and removing the proteins from the food. CONSTITUTION:Food made from grain, such as returned wheat vermicelli, ''soda'', cooked rice, etc. is dehydrated to a water content of e.g. 30-50% by, e.g. centrifugation, and mixed with a harmless solvent of proteins, such as ethanol. The mixture is thoroughly kneaded, and filtered. The filter cake is completely dried, and crushed to obtain the objective regenerated powder. |
