CONSTITUTION: A current detector(25) detects a current value flowing in an LED. A controller confirms the luminance information of an image signal to be displayed and determines the brightness of the image to be displayed. The controller determines a target current value and supplies it to a current adjusting unit. The controller supplies a virtual target current value to the current adjusting unit. A current adjustment part(31) adjusts the current value flowing from the power supply unit to the LED.</p>
