<p>Disclosed is a liquid crystal sealing agent difficult to dissolve by liquid crystals, which can cure at low temperatures and in a short time, and which has excellent display reliability. The liquid crystal sealing agent comprises a curable resin which includes epoxy resin, a thermosetting agent, and a curing catalyst of 0.1 - 10 parts by weight relative to total 100 parts by weight of the aforementioned curable resin. The aforementioned curing catalyst is an imidazole curing catalyst with a fusion point indicated by the formula (1) of 150ºC max. [In the formula (1), R1 and R2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a lower hydroxyalkyl group, a phenyl group, or a benzyl group; R3 and R4 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group or a lower hydroxyalkyl group; and at least one of R1 to R4 are a lower hydroxyalkyl group.]</p> |
