PURPOSE: A signal processing method and apparatus based on multiple texture using a video audio excitation signal is provided to offer a compressed signal in which video signal and audio signal are included. CONSTITUTION: A feature point detection unit(512) detects a plurality of feature points from a selected seed signal. A texture signal definition unit(514) defines a plurality of texture signals. An approximation unit(515) performs an approximation process for texture signals which has similar variables for time-space location conversion. A compression unit(517) compresses an AV(Audio/Video) filtering signal, the variable of texture composition filter, and variables for time-space location conversions corresponding to each texture signal.
