PURPOSE:To attain an enough wave form width and peak value and assure a broad spark advancement width, by placing two signal coils with a phase difference from each other, connecting the coils in series with each other and superposing output wave forms on each other. CONSTITUTION:Two ignition signal coils 13, 14, which are provided around cores 13a, 14a, are adjusted to a necessary spark advancement width and placed with a phase angle difference theta from each other on a stator base 7. The gap, across which the core 13a for the coil 13 located in front as to a rotating direction is opposed to a permanent magnet 4, is made larger than that between the magnet and the core 14a for the coil 14 located behind as to the rotating direction. As a result, the wave form of the no-load voltage across the coil 13 is made gentle as shown in (a) but the wave form of the no-load voltage across the coil 14 is made steep as shown in (b). Both the coils are connected in series with each other to superpose the wave forms on each other. The resultant wave form is as shown in (c). The maximum spark advancement angle theta is attained even in discharge at a bias voltage VCR with the time constant of a bias circuit. This results in assuring a spark advancement width enough for the performance of an engine. |
