<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gauge for a vehicle, which improves the commercial product value by imparting stereoscopic feeling to the gauge for the vehicle while restraining a cost increase. <P>SOLUTION: A case 10 formed from a non-transparent member surrounding the perimeter of a dial 4 is provided behind the dial 4. A plurality of projecting gradations 2 are provided so as to project further forward than the dial 4 and be continuously integrated with the case 10. An illuminating light source L1 is provided behind the dial 4. A light transmission portion 3a is provided, which is formed on the dial 4 so as to surround each projecting gradation 2 and transmit light from the illuminating light source L1 to the perimeter of each projecting gradation 2. When the case 10 is molded, the projecting gradations 2 are simultaneously molded. In the night, the projecting gradations 2 look like a silhouette as if they were floating in the light transmission portion 3a.
