<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay terminal that has a contact part for a male terminal of an opposite side prevented from wearing out, and is also increased in yield and made short. <P>SOLUTION: The relay terminal 1 includes a substrate part 2 having a male terminal contact surface 2a, a pair of side plate parts 3 raised from both width-directional sides of the substrate part, a pair of tilt plate parts 4 extended obliquely to the substrate side from raised tip sides of the pair of side plate parts, and a pair of surface contact plate parts 5 for male terminal contacting extended from extended tip sides of the pair of tilt plate parts toward the width-directional center of the substrate part substantially in parallel with the substrate part. Guide piece parts 6 for male terminal guidance are protruded at ends of the surface contact plate parts 5 on male terminal insertion sides while inclined to the opposite side from the substrate part. Ends 3a of the side plate parts 3 on male terminal insertion sides are inclined to a male terminal insertion direction, the inclined plate parts 4 and the surface contact plate parts 5 are formed shorter than the substrate part 1 in the male terminal insertion direction, and tips 6a of the guide piece parts 6 are positioned substantially on the same virtual plane with an end 2e of the substrate part 2 on the male terminal insertion side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
