摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control system capable of reducing deposits adhered on an injector using an existing system. <P>SOLUTION: The engine control system is for controlling a cylinder direct injection type engine, and includes an air-fuel ratio sensor installed in an exhaust system of the engine, an exhaust gas recirculation device for recirculating exhaust gas from the exhaust system to an intake system of the engine, and a control device for controlling the engine and the exhaust gas recirculation device and calculating an air-fuel ratio feedback coefficient based on an output signal of the air-fuel ratio sensor.
